The Virginia Beach Sportsplex
The Virginia Beach Sportplex is a 6,000-seat sports complex located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The stadium within the complex is chiefly used for soccer, and when it opened in 1998 it was the first soccer-specific stadium built from the ground up in the United States. Back then it had 10,000 seats. Today, there is room for 3,600 spectators on the bottom deck and 2,400 on the top deck.
The soccer atmosphere has been described as “European”, with seats located close to pitch. The Concourse Level chiefly consists of a wide spectator walkway that will take you to the lower seating deck. The Club Level leads to the upper seating area, the six luxury suits and the press box.
